Can anyone with the EPC please tell me if the 1.5 TD Corsa has the same number of teeth as the 1.7TD and the difference in weights if possible?

Need to know for certain if the 2 are interchangeable

I currently have a 1.5 TD engine (Isuzu TC4EC1) which has died and have a new 1.7 TDi (Isuzu TC4EE1) engine arriving later. Think I saw a post before where someone had fitted the 1.5 fly onto a 1.7, just wanted to check before i start butchering a brand new engine.

If anyone has already done this what was the acceleration like?
