just trying to install windows 98 there and i dunno WTF i did but the whole partition table on my second hard drive got wiped

So that means i just lost 10 Gigs of mp3's and photos from years back.

think i have about 7gigs of them mp3's backed up someware

i think i'm going to cry

the moral of the story is to keep backups on CD.....

Look around for a piece of software called R-Disk

It comes in FAT32 and NTFS versions and I've used it to recover from formatted disks, dead FAT's etc before
