Our vectra has a 2.0 ecotec and seems to pull quite nice

Its not a bad engine, just not as good as the XE. It compares to the ford zetecs I think.

well have bags more torque than a 16xe
lighter than an XE?
still very tunable and the torque figures aint much different to the XE, wouldnt write them off with no reason

He does have a reason, that the XE has more power and torque, and is more tunable.
It wont be noticably lighter, if at all.
