i cant get on2 msn.. wont let me open the main page

but i am actually on it.. cos ppl r talkin 2 me .. but they have to contact me 1st to chat

i think im on windows messenger.. not msn messenger..

i have 2 icons at bottom right of page.. im confused

alot of the time i can neva get on msn

2 icons cos ones windows messenger and others msn.

sign out of win messenger then try msn.

if i delete msn messenger and reinstall iit will i lose all my contacts list

export your contact list first have a look under the menu at the top and there will be something like "export contact list". then when you install msn again, simply import them

nah u don't need to, ive formatted my HD many a times and they are always there whe n i log back in. i can't get on msn either. its fecked.

You shouldnt loose your contacts coz they are saved to your username

Depending on your sevurity, you may have problems running it. Check the level. If its high, knock it down abit and see what that does. I know imesh etc has problems with norton security coz of the file sharing etc.

Can try uninstaling msn mesenger then reinstal, but windows mesenger is a xp thing (i think) which is automatically loaded on with the OS. I think if you uninstal that, you wont be able to get it back coz its on the OS disk.
