How much work needs to go into making the bonnet? Do they have to respray the who bonnet on can they just do the front?

How much roughtly does it cos?

respray whole bonnet normally, cost £150 odd all done.

no point just spraying front bit and blending it in, easier just to do all bonnet

mild steel welded to orig

metal plates are cut and welded on, then skimmed with filler to smooth out.
Then u paint it.

is the steel cut to shape then? or do u order the steel parts already shaped?

£150 is very cheap for the difference it makes IMO, get it done...

while im getting it sprayed i suppose i could get a evo vent done at the same time, same amount of spraying, but its fitting the vent and blending it in.

no dont get a big vent there ghey....

Also means they have to cut out all the supports on underside of bonnet meaning its liable to crack etc...

If you want a vent get a complete fibreglass bonnet with 1 in.

if done myn myself -with the middle lip-only used metal over the headlights as i wanted that straight-the middle is done with fiberglass matting(alot) came out better than i thought very strong-and i can open and shut it withought being carefull- will post some pics if you want
