just ordered mine today, some people hav been sayin to me that its better if i get my own scoop put in and some ppl are sayin that i should order it as ive done today with the sccop in it already
they say that it may crack if i order it with the scoop already in there but i always thought that there would be a bigger chance of it cracking if i had a scoop welded into it
what do u think?
is it better to have your own scoop put in or is it beter to have it already put in for you???

yes a 1 piece bonnet is much better than a scoop fitted to a metal one, as u will need to cut out the support beams on underside to fit the vent thus losing all the strength in the metal, which then flexs when u open the bonnet and cracks the vent.

fibreglass bonnets prob are a bit more work to fit but the advantage is u wont have to go back every 6 months to have it repaired and resprayed where it has cracked.
Big fibreglass vents in metal bonnets DONT WORK, any bodyshop will tell u this.
