I will get one in the next couple of years, but only when they are not worth as much.

I refuse to pay anymore than 7k for a car nowdays.

Yes, I sold it and was still paying for it 2 years after I sold it to clear the debts I had on it.

I'm happy now though, debt free at last and loving ever second of it

It makes me happy to know that I could go and purchase a new car at any time but nothing really takes my fancy at the moment other than the Astra and I'm concerned that if I got it I would get bored of it like I did with the Corsa and then be stuck with more debt for another 3 years

Yes I financed my MR2 for 4years just to spread the cost, paid finance for not even a year, changed jobs, paid car off, now im bored with it and not even had it 2 years. Ive still got it and a BMW 325i which cost me £900

I love cheap motoring

I may use the cash I get from the MR2 to get a new car, dunno havent decided yet

Not really. A turbo vaux isn't a performance road car like an Evo. Completly different class of cars and engine.

Power is less, but a lot smoother than a lot of other 2.0 turbo cars. And mild tuning packs can have the front wheels spinning and some good performance times.

small turbos nik. gives a good spread of torque for driveability.

Yeah but they are supposed to be a performance car are they not? The Evo is perfectly driveable and smooth! Would like to see an Astra coupe with 225bhp or there abouts to really rival quicker cars in it's class.
