hey guys, want to mod my corsa but im on a tight budget,im 18 and still in school.its a lime green corsa sting and need ideas. was thinking bout dark lexus rear clusters, smoked repeaters, grille, sunstrip, exhaust and slammin the fucker. its on 15s but they look bigger,so might slam it and add mudflaps. what u guys think? would it take a lot of work to fit 206 virtuel skirts. any help is welcome.....??

no sunstrip and no mudflaps. Get custom exhaust (290quid from www.exhaustuk.com) clear rear lights, clear repeaters, colour coded, saxo spoiler, lower it between -40 and -60, kamei grill?

corsa have sooo much potential for styling and so many bits availble its down to your taste really. smooth and subtle or flip paint and wide arch kit????

dont go over the top - u'll regret it as Im doing now - u'd be much better to use this car to get ur no claims - do little bits and then flog it for something better once the insurance is more sensible - I had a quote of £1100 for a standard RX7 the other day - at 21 with 4 years NCB - I f I hadnt spent as much as I have on my car - I could afford the one I got the quote on - and run it

lower it mate springs are around 70-90squid, back lights 60squid plus, then theres the cheapies, gearknob etc, side repeaters pull ya badges off and tcut it?

KEEP IT CLEAN and WASHED smart hardly modified cars can look better if theyre clean mine always looks a shed despite loadsa mods cos its always dirty (i live in the countryside) i envy town dwellers

so heres my shortlist thanks to you guys ideas

lowered 60/80
smoked rears and repeaters
exhaust
de-badge
grille
and if the cash stretches then ccm karnage skirts.
still like the idea of mudflaps and sunstrip but that depends on how the car looks with these mods. not a lot i can do with a lime green/black colour scheme!!

i'm only 17 and still at school (well for another 2 weeks anyway)
my car goes to show (i think) that even on tight budget you can still do subtle mods that look the part.

for yours i'd say:
lower it 60mm
clear repeaters
de-badge and rub strips taken off
kamei grille (or similar)
exhaust
keep standard rear lights though.

thanks very much, got hundreds of photo's of it.
its a 00X 1.2 16v sxi, all de-badged so i think i'm right in saying the only difference outside between it and a 1.4/1.6 sport is the round exhaust instead of the square.
i'd say if u just do subtle mods for the time being, keep your car clean and all the black plastic bits black and the car will look good.
