if u got L plates on who has to sit beside u ? they need to be a minimum age ? or be passed for a certain amount of time?

the driver does need to be insured, it is minimum age of 21 and 3 years driving experience. im up for rent if anyone needs sum1 to sit in there car

my g/f is learning and i have been the passenger but was unsure if i had to be insured on it too. (she is insured)

I'm sure the driver does, I'm not sure about the supervisor but it'd make sense if you were. You might find that your learner wants to give up and have a rest and you're miles away - how are you going to get home!

Same rules apply for their fitness to drive as well - you cannot have a drink and supervise a learner for example.

no colin. learner driver is insured on her/his car. the passenger has to be at least 21 and have had 3 years. the passenger does not have to b insured on that car

Learner Driver has to be insured
A least 21 and held a liensce for 3 year
Supervisor has to be in a fit state to drive as they can be breathlized, etc

But if the person sitting in is over 21 and has an insurance policy where they can drive any car, they only need the owners permission to be able to drive the car....which im sure would be given to the person if they were taking their mate out

u CAN NOT be insured on a car being alearner without a named driver with a full licence on it too

Surely the supervisor should be insured on the car, as he or she should be able to take over driving from the learner driver at any time
