I used to think that a decent electric supercharger would be possible but after seeing all the attempts that people have had it doesn't seem like such a good idea after all.

Well it will work if and only IF you can get a fan to shift enough air... it has to be quite allot more than the engine sucks anyway.... which is already allot.
Finding a fan to do that is tricky.
