My alarm seems to keep randomly set itselfs off, and its really not funny any more

The problem I have is that when this happens, the central locking unit seems to stop respondings, so I can't lock or unlock my car. As you can guess, thats not funny either

I was wondering if anyone else has had this? It doesn't seem to like the rain much either

Is it a vauxhall standard system or an aftermarket alarm?
