Just wondered what times people with 2.0 red top engines were getting on the strip?

Going for a new project and in 2 minds whether to buy a cheap corsa and go the 2.0 route, or a cheap 205 Gti and go for an Mi16 transplant.

cams
head work
exhaust
flowed
camshafts
con rods
good computer setup

Just the basics. Dont expect much change back from £10,000.

Other kits can come around at 250bhp for about £4500 ish

my old man built a red top up for his mates g3 escort tarmac spec car.

spent about 7.5k on it and it was dynoed at something insane like 270bhp
