Been offered a place 2 do Mechanical engineering at strathclyde? Anyone else there or been to the uni? Good/Bad?

My pal went there to do mechanical engineering bu left after a year and switched to glasgow instead!

I think my mate does Mechanical Engineering at Strathclyde.
He's in his second year and they're building a wee Mini Moke from scratch to race against other Uni's. Next year they build a proper, faster kit car to race against pro teams I think!
Sounds cool anyway
