Any way of changing the size of pictures through photoshop without it going blurry?

Got a few small pics that i want to make desktop size

No. Big to small is ok, but small to big don't work I'm affraid...

If they're small and you want to make them larger, no. There isn't enough detail saved in the smaller image, it'll just look blocky and crap, or blurred if your software is clever enough.
