As above , i am a member but i want now to sell products .
so a few questions i am unsure about.
1) Why do i have to give them my credit card? cant i just sign up for paypal?
2)if i win an auction does ebay or paypal take money straight out of my bank or do i have to give permission?
3) does ebay take money off me even if i dont sell it as it did not make its reserve?
4) Is it easier to sign up to ebay then to paypal or otherway around?
cheers

1) Credit card details are incase you feck off with money & dont send goods.
2) Nowts taken out of any account until they send you an invoice to pay
3) No
4) eBay then PayPal

No, you win an auction and then the person sends you an invoice to pay if you dont do it straight away, or once you've won the auction you can go to Pay Now (If you can pay the seller via paypal) and stick your credit card number, expiry date etc in and then you're done.
Your little cousin wouldnt be able to bid for anything unless he knows your password. Once you click place bid, it asks for your password to make sure you are the user of the account.

can only cancel an auction if there is more than 24 hours left or none has bid on it - something like that

They take no fees at all automatically on ebay.
The amount you pay ebay depends on how much your item sells for.

I dont think any company can take money out of your bank account by theirselves. Surely something illegal in there or sumit!
