right ive been told a "Lifer" has fucked... and i been told it hard to tell wut ones fukd, so do ihav to buy all 16 if thts right?

A lifter has gone someone told you? Is it 16v, if it is, they don't have lifters.

If its 8v, its hard to tell which one is broke. Refurb them with a haynes, cheap but effective.

oh a lifter Yeah 16v models dont have hydraulic lifters. What about the tappets?

right... i was told a Hydralic (sp) lifter what every the fuk tht is.. its a 1.4 16v an my engines tapping like fuk

yeah its the tappets are not getting enough oil to lubricate them. Could be an underlying problem.
