just tried to do it but the light just stayed on solid. is it the engine management light i should be lookin at in the dash? my car is a 2000 B so will this make any difference?

correct

dan its a way of reading a code that has been stored on ure ecu when ure engine management light comes on so u can see wot the fault is. u insert a paperclip into the correct holes and count the flashes of the light which gives u a number that u then look up and see wot it refers to
