As above, what sort of mileage do you expect get to a full tank, on average with a C20XE in a corsa??

sorry can't answer your question, but i had shit consumption in my xe cally. turned out the thermostat was stuck open, causing to be effectively running on choke all the time. it's pretty good now to be honest, although thats in a more aerodynamic shell than the corsa

Costs me about 28 quid in my bloody 1.2 16v to go to derby and back (145 miles each way) so 290 miles all round.
that works out at roughly a tenner per 100 miles !! thats driving at a normal speed, not breaking any speed limits !
hummm.....should i be expecting better millage? Its a 2000 x reg corsa b

I think you'll find their is a BIG differernce with how long your petrol lasts in a valver between when you boot it and drive calm, MUCH bigger than 1.216v's etc. I asked the same question on MIG a while back and most people said approx £30 for £280 when driven calmly (which is the same as my 1.2) but it goes down drastically when you high-rev it to around £30 for 220-240 miles.

The weight of the Calibra will have more of an effect than its better aerodynamics.
