if you rev a car hard, you'll always get some smoke, maybe your car's runnin a bit rich. Dont worry about it.

When flames and bits of metal start shootin out, that's when you start to worry

indeed puff of black smoke. Though burning oil was bluey-grey, its only on hard acceleration could it be overfueling?

Youre right, oil smoke is bluey in colour, a puff of black smoke is unburnt fuel.

Technically, its overfuelling, yes, but its not serious.

so is that why my zorst grumbles on lift off when it is hot, the unburnt fuel is igniting in the tube and giving a slight popping sound.... correct?

Oil is blue smoke, and petrol is black smoke, i'd of thought its just running a bit rich.

And yes the popping is unburnt fuel igniting in the exhaust, i get it all the time when i ease off the accelerator
