my system is ok for a beginner, but i want more !!!

I'm after 2 JLw312's. Do i get the 4 ohm or the 2 ohm bearing in mind i want 2, cos if i get the 4 ohm, i'll be able to wire up both voicecoils to make a 2 ohm load and run the subs in parallel and make the amp see a 1 ohm load ??(am i correct ??)

What is the best amp to run these ???

yeah that is right id u had 2 of the 4 ohm coil versions they cud be wired to show 1 ohm.

If this is the case i wud power them with a Directed 600d amp, which gives 600w rms at 1 ohm.
