i have a 1.4 Corsa B (Flair model) and it top's out at just under 90
i have a problem with it as its over revving at the mo but any idea what it should be topping at?

also would a k+n induction kit slow me down if its not spcifically for the car (taken of my mates 1.4 SRi)

any help would be mucho apreciated

or the performance statistics on this site. K&N might slow the car down as it will just be sucking in hot air from the engine bay.

K&N will mainly suck in hot air when the car is stopped as when its moving cold air gets into the engine bay and comes through your cold air feeds

i hav a 1.4 8v with steelies it went 107mph with some othe rwheels in back as extra weight and was slightly down hill

i can just touch 100 now with 16s and that with no hills and reaching the redline in 4th gear b4 going into 5th

well my 1.0l tops out at about 96, thats with backbox and drilled airbox

My 1.2 16v sxi seems to top out at 109 after a while - was a rent a car b4 so its probably used to my style of driving

i got my 1.4 8v to 120 (indicated)

Down hill obviously, sooooo close to the limiter aswell, started smelling funny tho
