Had a prang in my Corsa, now got a standard, new 93 bumper on in grey plastic. The bloke whos repairing it said it wont take the paint very well due to the textured surface.

Any idea what else I could do? Fit a V grille facelift bumper? GSi?

my 93 sri had those grey bumpers...

i swapped them for some post 97' (v grill) bumpers. £15 for back and rear and the old man sprayed themup for me

The textured bit should hold the paint fine, aslong as you use plastic primer under it.
I resprayed my 306's front bumper, including the textured black plastic bits, and the paint's stuck fine.
