very true, infact, nothign has lived up to the mk1 campaign IMO, lupo gti is the closest thing to it

130tdi and 150tdi are fantastic engines, parent one at 125mph is so refined

The interior on the Polo is lush, build quality and residuals also very solid. Performance is actually not too bad on the road. A friend of mine at college had one a couple of years back and it was pretty nippy. All in all a decent enough package.

Deffo get an Ibiza. You can pick the Lupo GTI for around 8k now aswell.

I don't like the C2, not particularly nippy and gonna be just like Paxo's in a couple of years.

Insurance will be more on the Ibiza or Lupo, but you wouldn't regret it.
