Right.

I know fitting wider tyres will aid traction but what about tyres that have a higher rolling radius?

I have 17's at the mo with 215/40/17's and I'm struggling big time to get my 240bhp through the front wheels from launch.

What I want to know is, will fitting 18's with say 235/35/18's help traction. Obviously the wider track will help but what about the increased rolling radius?

My thinking is that it will improve as their is a greater resistance to turn, therefore, less likely to spin?

Opinions please, as I'm unsure whether to invest in some 18's with 235/35/18 Toyos or keep with my standard 17's and purchase some 225/35/17 Toyos.

But I don't want to go too far the other way and make it so hard to spin that I loose a lot of time.
