Ok, someone sold my friend a phone, and not a cheap one on ebay, said they sent it then provided a photo of a recorded delivery receipt, which is obviously been prit sticked about ! It looks so fake comnpared to areal one, its been overlayed and the item number has never been posted either. Although its been stamped. Enough of that anyway.

I know Ebay take bothe sides into account. But we have this fraudsters address. Anyone know WTF to do ? Aside from using ebay, which allows the other person to blame us and lie or going round with an pair of pliers snips and pulling their teeth out ?

The person in question has a nice little scam going, when emailed at first with their address they seemed surprised as they had no address on file at ebay and were accepting cheques, but we paid the money direct and the dozy bank clerk, told us their address....we only had acc and sort and name. They seem to have a decent ebay account until you look at the phone auctions, conducted several never received any feedback and all are private too.

They tried to also make out they were just selling it for someone else and the person we needed was this other guy rather than the girl we dealt with.

my mate got a phone, went to get it unlocked, and it had been reported stolen, he doesnt really know what to do.

My phone was fine off ebay, still aint recieved an mp3 player after 4 months

ive spent the last two and a half weeks being messed about by some one on ebay who bought some thing off me.

80 characters isnt enough to leave bad feed back.

If you had paid with paypal you could have got your money back as with credit cards but with cheques your abit fucked really!

Ebay do fuck all to help either the seller or the buyer!
