I heard that you can make your own driveshafts and hubs, or mod them to fit from the donor car... Is this true? And use an Eco-Tec pipe instead of a powercap... Any other cost saving tips?

What I was wondering really, was, that seeing as I got all these parts knocking about, like driveshafts and hubs of of the Cav, is whether I could use them, turns out I can. I won't be doing the machining myself, I'll get a specialist to do them for me - whos got the machinary to do milling and lathing e.t.c... Or whatever needs to be done to get them to fit. It's not really 'doing it on the cheap' as it will still cost a few $$$, just think that £475 for the fitting kit off PVD is a bt much...

He told me that somone off of here fucked him about a bit and for some reason he couldn't sell it to me... So I told you I'd get the wheels off you, so I had to spend the money for that on tyres... Then he let me know that he could sell it again cos the person un-fucked him about, but then I had comitted myself to the alloys, so no $$$ for the fitting kit... Out of breath now
