Was having my exhaust sorted today to get rid of a rattle, and the guy at the garage pointed out that my nearside Gmax damper had busted. Hydraulic fluid was leaking all over the springs and the damper itself. Really pissed my off considering the kit was only bought 3 weeks ago from M8 Auto-tec. Called them up and they're going to supply me a replacement one for free on Friday. Has anyone else had this problem and why is it happening? The guy on the phone said this was the only time he'd ever heard of a Gmax one becoming faulty..

Fucking pisses me off. Have to admit the Gmax kit really improved the ride...just that nearside damper is only a few weeks old.

funny enough was gonna get a g max kit till i heard bad things bout em n was recommended to get tha apex 1, heard there even betta then tha spax 1's!!

They have a 3 year gaurentee on them g-maxx kits do. Take it back to where you got it and get a new set

Yep like i said M8 Auto-tec said they'd supply a replacement one for free so long as I send the faulty one back.
