the cranks are the same so i guess the pistons and block would be the same too, think its only the head that has smmall differences

C16xe has around 4bhp more and IMO seems a more reliable engine....mine has had nooooo problems what so ever in the last year and mentioning no names **cough**darrens**cough** has had nought but shite

If we are talking bare blocks then I would imagine they are identical.

Not sure on the bore, but yes. Esentially the same.

I think CP uses a 1.4 8v block with a 16v head and pistons.
