have you tried going to agencies or getting job mag's specialising in media.
have you checked for graduate trainee schemes.
Just write to a few production companies, and to find these surf the net !

I'd just turned 18 after doing 7/8 months as a youth trainee (first to stay on and get a job in years in my dept ) now just turned 21 and i'm on £16.4k and have had loads of training etc, also in the spot for a secondment to a £18/19k job in September

Sometimes youve just got to look at a wider scope, Ive come from Trainee Chemist, to manufacturing technician and now I work in Construction - House building(Absolutly Booming just now! - Loads of money to be made!). This has all been in the last 5/6 years aswell!
Good luck anyway but I wouldnt hang about too long looking for something in Media - your gonna get left behind mate!

it took me a year to get a half decent paid office job and i only get £15k 16k after probation
just keep looking, try every possible place u can mate

I'm 18 and TRAINING to be an accountant (my boss always calls it a training position whenever i call him stingy).
I've been looking at costs of moving out and its came down to Car or House.....Car.
Sick of being a meth though!
I'm going to take over my company and get my bosses Mercedes though.....zzzzzzzzz....

Im trying to look on the wider scope i.e. not just tv companies, but corporate vids. I maybe setting something up with a mate doing visuals for clubs. Maybe if Ian and Tim want a corsasport video making i could ablige.
But i need a job with a regular income.
