Its tuesday night, 1/4 to 11pm and ive got to pick my bro up after work (8 miles away)
Sitting at 80mph, when all of a sudden *beep**beep**beep**beep**beep**beep**beep**beep*
(radar detector)
Tap brakes, look to my left hand side and whos' hiding down a private road in the bushes?
So... Whats the scoop now? I doubt they'd have got my number plate due to glare off my lights etc
Do i just wait 2 months and hope for the best?
Went past again on way home and looked like she was standing on the bonnet with the radar gun at me

i heard that if the policeman/woman knows what he/she is doing they can get u without the radar detector picking em up if they are using a hand held maybe this what happened.
I'd say at 80 in a 70 u'd be ok anyway cause its 80 indicated i take it which is gonna be less than that anyway more accuratly calcualted and u get 10% plus 2 which is 79 ayway so i wouldnt worry mate

forgot to mention the 17s apparantly make me think i'm going slower or some shite?
Girlfriend got caught same place rougly by undercover cops about 6 months ago.
BUT she was hitting 86-90 (last she looked)

take the chance , i went through one at 80 in the corsa and never heard anything , i think with the guns they pull you.

Usually isnt there a team a little further down the road who pull you if your speeding when you go past the gun? That or a motorbike is on standby ready to follow you.

Well it beeped again 2 mins down the road, but saw fcuk all.
I assumed they're would be another car/bike down further but GF had the undercover car chase after (took nearly 3 miles to catch up)

I heard that it was 6 months??! I hope it is two weeks cause i thought i'd got caught speeding about a month ago, and i haven't heard anything so i hope i'm in the clear!

2 weeks to notify you then you get 28 days to pay the fine, if ya get a notice keep sending it back blank if you wanna risk it..

if they do not meet the specific regulation then techniacally they can not do anything
was hell on up here when a sargent got caught 90 in a 70 on a fixed camera and he went to court and got let off as the speed camera sign had no black border (or other way round) and did not meet regulations
