im going to colour code my handles n bootlid thing. wondering whether i need to sand down the paint to a matt finish before i put the laquer on or can i just fire the laquer straight on without any sanding?

dont forget to smooth off the plastic coz it has a 'dimple' effect!! and t'is ok to sand down paint to smooth finish and slap the laquer on

u dont need to smooth the paint unless u fcuk it up. just prep it properly. prime smooth, paint wait for about 10mins for it to flash off the laquer

Only smooth the paint before lacquer if there is some dust or bad areas, if its ok then leave it

and when spraying the laquer, do one thin coat and then a wet (thick coat) dont do lots of thin ones cos it wont be as shiny.
