i have got an ashtray consol with fag bit removed and have a nice button but the button is a few mm's short how can i make it sit nicley in the hole?

Get a fooking BIG washer, or cut a piece of plastic with a hole in small enough and glue it to the back of the big hole and slid it in

fill the hole in the ashtray with fibreglass.

cut right size hole out for switch,

smooth out and paint all then fit switch,

will look better and you will have a perfect hole

but wot ever i try the button just isnt firm enuff and will push out the other side wen i go o push it !

yhea but it gets too messy its hard to work on small areas with fibre glass , well it is 4 me ! i prefer large areas
