Hey ... If I had a car that has eletric windows like a caviler or something, what parts would I need off of it to convert my Corsa B 1999 Sxi to have electric windows as I could really do with them!!!
Are there any guides to doing this conversion too?
Cheers...

First of all you need another Corsa, not a Cav, then you need my Tutorial on it (guess where you can find that )

You have to use CORSA parts - not Cav, Veccy, Calibra, Nova, Astra, Frontera - k
The motor is spring loaded onto the regulator - you need both bits as a whole - these will only fit from a matching car.
You will need the Door looms, switches, switch holders and a car loom if your unlucky enough to have the wiring as standard. See my tutorial to check for this.

your gonna need, window switches, motor-mechanism, wiring looms and plenty of time ....
the wiring "loom" and "swithces" dont have to be for a CORSA...BUT u WILL have difficulties fitting them if their not... as i did
i had THIRD party motors, switches and wiring loom installed...i then after a year fitted the "standard" CORSA switches with blue leds myself...and wat a mess the wiring was! it was it over the place! the switches took 6 wires each were as the wiring loom in my car only had 5 wires per switch!!
good thing im a electrical genius hours of soldiering and rewiring and it was done and fully operational
its funny the amount of time and work you can do on such a samll thing and nobody really knows it when they get in the car...all they see is a damn window switch that opens the window!!

i just did this last week, with thanks to mav 3000's guide, i didnt even bother with my haynes manual.
I was lucky enough to have the loom already in the car, so that cut down on a lot of time. The first door i did took most of a day cos i had to re do it, the second i knew what i was doing and had it done in 2 hours.
