How long/difficult is this to do? I have found a good engine, but i have to remove it myself from the guy im buying it from!

about 6 bolts for the engine mounts and pull hoses off and disconnect wiring and drive shafts.

Cheers guys, the bloke is selling the rolling shell once ive had the engine. So it needs to not damage it so no gas axes
For a novice, im gunna be able to do it then?

Jack up car, slide flat bed trolley under lower it slightly so its touching. Undo all the wires and pipes, undo engine bolts. Lift car up - way up and remove trolly and enigne complete

undo all tth wiring etc, hoses etcclutch gear linkage
then undo steering rack ball joints and suspension top mounts
and undo the subframes and drop thelot

not to state the obvious..... but alll u want to look out for is getting anything that joins the engine to the cars body.
i'd start with the water bits and intercooler... get themm all out of the way so u have room to work then i go at the wiring.... id take all the wire from off the body of the car adn not just go an unplug them all out of the engine cos yer not gonna know what ya need when ya go to put them in the other car.....
then id go at the mechanicall side ie drive shafts and engine mounts.
J100RSA... 1hr an a half??? come on... not a chance? welll maybe if ya had a consaw and werent to worryed how the donner car looked after
