I have a M-reg 1.2 Corsa Swing. It does not have a rev-counter in its dash and i am looking to get hold of one. It needs to be a cable linked one not electronic connection (there appear to be loads of these about but i cant find a cable one). Does anyne know where i can get one and are they easy to fit?

I have actually heard about one from an R-reg car. Is this likely to be an electronic connection (is there a particular date when they changed or certain models). Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

if not all GSI and early SRI's would have had cable driven speedo and rev counter

i got one on here just stick and add in the wanted section. cost me £50 delivered.

although 2 days after i bought it someone was selling a digidash for the same price

Cheers guys.
Not wanting to convert, i think an add in the wanted section could be a good idea. Any ideas of rough price seen as 50 quid appears to be labled as expensive?
Oh and pardon my stupidness but what is a digidash?
presumably this isnt specifically for a corsa?

From certain Astra's, iirc.
The readout was digital rather than dials and needles.

think i'll stick to the standard one. Are there any issues with the accuracy of the speedo/rev counter depending on how i connect/where i get it from etc?

my one is from an sri to the best of my knowledge and its 3 miles out... but i have 16" wheels so thats whats causing that.

Away from the topic a bit.... everything else looks easy with that digidash expect how do ya get the speedo to work on it.

my car is mechanical how do u change that into electronic for the digi dash?

does anyone know if the one from the r-reg car will be appropriate for me please?

It needs to be cable, but are R-reg's either or are they all one or the other. I dont fancy any converting like was previously suggested-kinda want to keep it as simple as poss.
