need a new passenger door for my '96 3 door corsa after some S**t bent the top of mine out to nick my stereo , not sure whether to go thru insurance cos a mate of mine had his wrote off for a cheaper repair job than this , anyone know how much a new door would cost from vauxhall ?

i was quoted 500 to fix everything wen the same happened to my car i didnt go thru insurence

would be cheaper to source a door from a scrappy or get one new through them instead of going to vaux

i thought they bent back into position after this had happened? or would it crack at the pivot?

no way it will bend back on mine , they did a good job of creasing the window surround , anybody rreckon it will be written off due to the repair costs ?

had the same done too mine
got a door with glass from scrappy for £65 bodyshop re sprayed it and fitted it for £170 all it wasn,t too bad but if you get the right colour door just put it on yourself it aint to hard just make sure you got a mate to help as its a bit of a fiddle

ask them if they say yes then tell them you will pay out of your own pocket and not to worry about it they wont care if you pay out of your pocket

thinking about it a mate had the same hapen to him think he got it spot welded didnt pay the earth for it a lasted a few months till he had the extra cash to play with

get some pics up lets see how bad it is

Fitting a door is very easy, just have some friends handy as they're heavy.

There's usually a few on eBay although none at the moment, scrappy shouldn't want too much either, maybe £50-60.
