stoopid question but how do i go bout getting 1 for a car, im maybe buying a cav and the current owner doesnt have the v5, any help muchos appreciated

Don't hand any money over 'til you get the V5, all you need to do is phone up hte DVLA and ask for a replacement, or go to a DVLA office and ask there.
