Why did it take 6yrs and 2 kids to work out that he wasnt the one for you??? I would'nt blame him for hating you as i'd probably feel the same way if a lass made out that everything was going great and set a date to get married then all of a sudden she just dropped me like a hot potato, put yourself in his shoes how would you feel if he done this to you???

I would be gutted if i had no reason for what i considered a life partner splitting up with me, i know its hard for you to explain your reasons but it may well make the situation better. It will definately take time, but especially if you have kids, its always best to be on good terms. Doesnt matter how young they are, parents splitting up affects kids, and growing up with parents not talking definately has an impact. Just my 2p worth.
