Got a home network setup at home, WinMX works fine on the computer connected directly to the net but not on any of the others.
Anyone know why? I've had a brief look into the properties and could see some proxy server settings but when i entered the IP of the server it still didn't connect.
Anybody have the same setup? Kazaa doesnt want to work either. Obviously not getting through the LAN.
Cheers

if you could mate that would be good.
It does a check right at the beginning, on mine though it just kept on running and running and never finished. I clicked on manually configure and thats where i entered the IP of the server.

I had to set mine up to forward ports (I'm only using the XP Firewall) for Winmx to the connected computers. That worked.
