we were level from 40mph to 105mph, then he crept away for about 100m than came to roundabout......
must of been a shit one or i was "getting the power down first"
was a young lad and his m8, 4door, debadged, so couldn't tell what model it was.......was a K plate
likely to be a 1.6?

You would have been able to hear if it was a straight 6 (320 and above) 318 and 316 are very slow

316's are terrible, slower than 1.2 16v Corsas. Top end they would creap away but only once the Corsa has topped out.

The only BMW to get are the 318is upwards IMO, could easily leave a 1.4 corsa in that (ask corsa5dr )

had a play with a 316 in my fiesta Jim, on my way to Bowmans for the weekend with a car full of fishing tackle... I still won
But the bloke who owns it also has an M3 Evo so he blatantly just laughed and told me not to even make him get his "real" BMW out

I raced this one in my 106GTI
Got blown away and i was doing almost 130MPH at one point! Turned out it was an M3 Evo and as it had a wide arch kit on im sure he had spent some under the bonnet aswell!

I don't like BMW's for some reason, they all look tacky apart from the new 3 series.

The M3 would be a classy BMW in any shape, E30, E36 or E46
but every gimp now owns a 3 series with some skirts and an M3 badge

The 328's? Around 200bhp and similar torque...0-60 on them is around 6.5-7

I remember racing a few 3 series. the 320 had the better of me, but the 318 was fairly neck and neck, it must have been the 318is

sat on an E36 M3s arse up the dual carriageway, twat wouldnt get out my way. Also, some fella with his FIT bird in the car in an 04 plate 330ci cabriolet thing tried racing me, i let him think hed won, then i put ma foot down. Cyaaa!!!
Best one, Half Pint will vouch for this, he was in the car, was a Ferrari 328TS, i backed off and left him to go hurtling up the M1 in the end!
