Went skiing in Austria in February, was good... January is your best bet for the Northern Hemisphere but also the busiest and costliest :S

Alpe de'Huez - was great
it was around Feb aswell when I went, was a hooooj place! I'd like to go again, but its expensive & I can't get boots in my size easily

I went there. Mont Blanc and a few others the only other name i can remember is Grimonde. not sure if that was a mountain or run? Was cool though. would definitly do it again.

Where you going skiing in Canada? I'm leaving in January for 3 months to train to become a ski instructor
Canada is meant to be amazing, I've never been, but I've been to France loads of times

i have been 3 times, twice to pamporovo in bulgaria and the last time to stowe in vermont
bulgaria is lots lots warming than USA so that is a pretty good aspect to it but in the USA/Canada there arent as many people waiting at ski lifts etc and actually on the piste

Skiing is fun! Especially in France, with all the very lovely french chicks that come running out to you in their underwear, even when you're throwing snowballs at their windows.
