I do, however i cannot buy music with it because Australia isnt set up for it yet. I have put all my music collection onto .AAC format for Ipod, which now contains my whole music collection! I love it.

Well Kazaa is utter shite now and I havent ever used WinMX (will do soon though)... iTunes seems a lot easier though and the track quality seems a lot better than what I used to get on Kazaa etc.

You obviously need to get some clues on downloading music then, pay attention to the quality of the songs you are downloading (I never go lower then 192kbps) and you wont be complaining about the quality, also check the duration of the song to other versions that have came up in your search, this will help getting a completed version.

I do all of this and I dont even use Kazaa, SoulSeek (http://www.slsknet.org) is where its at

conclusion: you don't need to buy music online for a long time me thinks, its easy enough already to just get good quality rips of your favorite songs.

I've installed iTunes to manage my music with my Ipod, still need to get to grips with it and have a play but seems ok.

Soul Seek is good then ?

Just got myself a 20g Samsung 920. Really nice and easy to use, Napster "sponsored" But works great and looks nice too, so gonna need to get myself some decent tunes.

Using Win<X @ moment for Films, and Music, takes ages tho

Soulseek is nice, fun community and just simple to use. Problem is how it differs to Kazaa.

When you search for a file from Kazaa such as ojc-facia.mpg, if it finds say about 5 people with the same file it will allow you to download parts off them 5 people at the same time thus improving the speed you get it at.

With Soulseek however, if 50 people have the same file you can only download from one person, and if they only have a small amount of upstream allocated for you then it may take a long time.

Only downfall IMHO.

Doesn't sound too bad, thought it'd be useful for songs i can't find in other places, but can't find them here either, so far.

Seems good enough idea anyway

Willay, I always look for high quality but most of the stuff I downloaded off Kazaa is shite and goes fuzzy after 10secs

The laptop I use at home is shite but we are getting a new computer soon

A common mistake alot of people make is put a '-' in the search bar, if you look at the window it actually says - will exclude a word. So if you search for:

spice girls - wannabe

This will find all songs with spice girls in the title, but exclude results with the word wannabe in the title too.

The correct way would be to just search for:

spice girls wannabe

Sorry if you already knew this.

Also searching for just the song title helps.

Just down to poor searches I'm afraid.

Even though Kazaa is loaded with complete shite, I'm sure theres still 'quality' stuff knocking around their networks.
