Getting a tailgate to practive on so though ill give it a go. Cant weld it so was thinking of fibreglassing it, any1 got a guide or how i should go about doing so?

ive just done mine, cost me £20 using my standard boot and looks good, its not that hard if you know basics about filling and smoothing

i did i welded a plate in but you can do it with fibreglass

u can get a pannel from wwwcorsacentre.com for 45 pound i think maybe that maybe an option

the welding needs to b done otherwise its not safe and the whole job just could fall out my mates did that, and iv just finishing off mine its fun mate get goin on it ull really enjoy yourself oh and panels r s.h.i.t.e.e.e.e.e.e

if your going to attempt it then you may aswell do it properly and learn to weld at the same time.

you don't need rods, just use a mig welder.
mild steel plate around 1.6mm. most steel works chuck pieces the size of what you need away so ask around.
