Am i right in thinking that a car cd player should turn on if you connect one wire to the positive batt terminal and another to the negative terminal. Just need a quick way to test if a cd player works.

You'll need to run two wires (perm live, and Ign. Live) to the +'ve terminal .

is ign. live the one called power antenna on the wiring harness?
