And with Temp work you can do work when ever you want right ???
Example….like to work 3 weeks, then to take a week off. Then do 4 more weeks and have another week off.
Or is it work, with no time off ???

Temp work means you are just on a 3, 6, 12 month contract etc, doesnt mean you can go on holiday once a month, unless you find someone after a 3 week contractor

Me too !
I remember seeing one of the invoices for a temp we had and they charged us about £600 for a week.
Which might work out to be £400 for the temp, and £200 for the agency.
And he was some matey who need work during his summer holiday.

Yeah, you go through an agency and they will find you a contract that is however long

No mate, you’re thinking of a Temp to Perm Contract.
That is where they give you a 3 month contract to prove yourself and if you don’t do well that’s when they fuck you over.
I’m on about purely a temp basis where an agency sends you to a company, with no interviews and application form filling……straight into a job for a temporary time of eg 2 weeks to help them with work they can’t not clear.
It’s a quick fix to sort out work that they don’t have enough staff for, and yet don’t have to employ some one since it’s only going to be for a short time.

We have a temp in work who apparently used the office phone to call his girlfriend on her mobile today.
I don't have any spare minutes this time of year to make personal calls never mind ones that cost 49p per minute, I think I'm going to grass him up tomorrow
