how much do they charge (est.) for engine transplants or whats there view on them??

i wanna go from 1.6 to a 2lt 16v ibiza curpa engine in my mk3 golf

they refused to cover me with my converion, but im not sure if thats cos it was a conversion or cos im 19 with a 2.0 and most people wont insure under 21s on them.

they do insure modified and engine conversion you just need NCB and to be over the 21 threshhold

I'm 20. They told me I could do what I want to the engine, however, they 'may' not pay out in the event of a claim. Bunch o' jokers.
