apparently the K-series engine is a good one...just the fact ts out of a metro dont mean the engines shite

Yup K series engines are good, that 1.4 16v lump will have 103bhp, so think how light the car will be and it will have a good power to weight ratio.

mum used to have the metro GTi with the 1.4 lump. Went like shit off a shovel. my dad used to thrash the bejesus out of it on weekends when taking the dogs for a walk. I remember it leaving quite a few cars trying it on, and esp funny when the loser had 2 panting dogs looking at them through the back window
