Anyone care to recommend me an CAT 1 alarm system??
Looking to pay around £400 max including fitting. Would go a little higher if it was worth the money.
Cheers people,
Sean.

clifford concept are the only alarms i would ever recomend, if fitted by a qualified dealer will be a first class alarm. the 300 is the best value for money

What kinda price does the 300 go for, if you know that is.
I have heard dodgy things about Clifford alarms in the heat though, I am moving to ibiza for 4 months next summer so could be an issue.
What do ya'll think to the Toad system?? had a Toad A101CL before and never had a problem so I know the quality is there.

Yes, sorry I didnt explain that too well. I am taking the car over with me. Cant cope without transport overthere.
The Concept 300 sounds like a decent deal to me, but is the heat problem still an issue on cliffords??

Fair enough mate, just have something sitting in my head about it. Cant remember the specifics though.
I aint flying it over, I am driving down through france and shit, gonna have a little holiday on the way, then ferry it over onto the island for the 4 months and then bring it back again.

But dont clifford offer to pay your excess if your car is stolen?? I know it dont help your premiums but it does help.
Plus the intention of an alarm is to warn of theft not stop it completly, it cannot always be stopped completly.

yes because a clifford means your car is unstealable
