*I have a 1.4i 8v + automatic transmission (60bhp C14NZ) with 22000km on it.
*Offer for a 1.4i 16v + it's manual transmission (90bhp X14XE) with 85000km on it, supposedly in perfect shape for 750€/512£/918$
both are ofcourse the corsa b engines, the x14xe should at least be more tuner friendly than the c14nz, and the manual transmission is real big plus for me.
If this is a good deal (I have absolutely NO idea what engine+transmission are going for) and considering I can get a reduced rate on work hours, how much extra would this conversion cost me and how long would it take (estimates are good enough).
While I know most of you would say, take the 1.6 or 2.0, but I don't know if it's as good value for money, and i'm a little tight on that last part right now -.-

Buy a car with the engine and transmission in it that you want or you will have trouble selling the car...

Even if the conversion is nicely done? I'm not really planning to sell it anytime soon tho.
It's pretty hard to find a Corsa-B with // >= 1.4i 16v engine (so '98 or later) // manual tranny // not too many miles on it, for a decent price.
