Ok I have had my laptop for a while now, about 2 years. I decided to format it as it had a load of crap on it. I have the original windows xp home disc that also has a folder named drivers on it but when I have installed everything it hasnt recognised the video controller Any ideas how I can find out what driver I need and perhaps search about for it?
Cheers for any help

if its a nvidia or ati then just go to there site's, especially nvidia as it just a standard driver for near enough all chipsets - if its something different thn your going to have fun finding it, try either the manufacturers website or try http://www.driverguide.com username: drivers password: all and search for it on there but again you will need model number of video controller etc u2u me if u want anymore help
